Is this safe to install on a live production site?
Yes. Every Sparrow fix is staged for your review before going live. You see a diff (before vs after) and choose Apply or Discard. Full rollback history is kept for 30 days. We never modify your database without explicit consent.
What happens if I run out of credits mid-month? Do unused credits roll over?
No, credits don't roll over. Your monthly allocation refreshes on day 1 of each billing cycle — anything unused from the previous month expires. This applies to all plans (Free, Pro, Agency).
If you run out mid-month: the plugin stops applying Sparrow fixes but keeps showing audit results so you know what's broken. You can either buy a top-up pack (starts at ₹100 / $1.20 for 100 credits, bigger packs are cheaper per credit) to keep going, or wait for the next cycle when your full allocation comes back.
The "use it or lose it" model lets us keep prices low — if we let credits stockpile indefinitely, a quiet month would mean a future spike that's hard to budget for operating costs.
Do you store my website content?
Only the specific page content needed to generate a fix is sent to Sparrow, processed once, and deleted immediately after — never stored, never logged. We don't train any models on your data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
Do I need Yoast or Rank Math installed for this to work?
On the Free plan: yes — Free uses Companion mode only, which adds an Sparrow fix layer on top of your existing SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, or AIOSEO).
On Pro & Agency: no — Standalone mode is unlocked, which is direct code-based SEO management. We write meta titles, schema, sitemaps, robots.txt and redirects straight to your WordPress database — no other SEO plugin needed.
This means Free is perfect for upgrading the SEO setup you already have. Pro is what you buy when you want to drop your existing SEO plugin entirely and consolidate.
Does Companion mode conflict with Yoast / Rank Math?
No. In Companion mode, SEOSparrows reads existing meta fields from Yoast / Rank Math / AIOSEO and writes back to the same fields — no duplicate meta tags, no sitemap conflicts. We don't touch your sitemap, robots.txt, or canonical URLs in this mode. Think of us as a "fix layer" on top of your existing SEO plugin.
Can I switch from Companion to Standalone later?
Yes. Switch modes anytime from SEOSparrows → Settings → Mode. When you switch from Companion to Standalone, we offer a one-click import that pulls all meta titles, descriptions, and schema from Yoast / Rank Math / AIOSEO into our database. You can then safely deactivate the other plugin.
How does support work — can I WhatsApp or call you?
Support is ticket-based, not WhatsApp or phone. Open a ticket from the Support page in your WordPress admin (or from your account at seo.aisparrows.com). You'll get a ticket ID right away and a response within 24 hours. Updates arrive via email, in the plugin admin, and in your account dashboard — whichever you check first. Every ticket and reply is saved in your account history, so nothing gets lost.
Free plan: standard ticket queue + community forum. Pro: priority ticket queue. Agency: priority queue + a dedicated account manager assigned to you.
Is the plugin GPL / open-source?
The WordPress plugin code itself is GPL2+ and available on GitHub. The Sparrow engine (credit metering, billing) is a SaaS service hosted on our servers. You're free to fork the plugin and connect it to your own backend.
How does Sparrow Malware Repair work — what if it makes things worse?
Every repair is shown to you for approval first. You see the infected code in red and our suggested clean replacement in green, side by side, before anything actually changes on your site. If Sparrow isn't confident enough that the fix is safe, we don't touch the file at all — we just flag it for you to handle. And if anything goes wrong after you approve a repair, your site is restored automatically within 90 seconds. Available on Pro & Agency plans.
Does the Sparrow Content Writer produce duplicate / generic content?
No. Each generation is unique — we use Sparrow with temperature settings tuned for variation, and every piece is checked against Copyscape standards before being written to your site. The writer is trained on the SEO patterns we've learned shipping real Indian e-commerce sites (local-intent keywords, GST/delivery trust signals, FAQ-schema-ready structure, Indian-language transliteration). Brand-voice mode analyzes your top 20 pages and matches your existing tone.
What happens if a SEOSparrows update breaks my site?
It can't, for long. Before every update we take a full backup of your site. Right after the update we check that your site still loads correctly. If anything looks wrong, we automatically restore the backup within 90 seconds — you don't have to do anything. Even days later, you can roll back to any previous version with one click from the plugin dashboard. Free on every plan, never costs credits.
What languages does Sparrow support?
Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, and 15+ more. Sparrow handles Indian languages natively. Brand voice is configurable per site.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the dashboard — no support ticket required. You keep access until the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial months, but the trial is 7 days no questions asked.
